COSIM 2016 to be held Oct 10-12 in Charlottesville, VA

This year's COSIM gathering will be co-hosted by Christian Aid Mission and Advancing Native Missions in Charlottesville, Virginia. The gathering will follow an open-space meeting format, drawing upon the expertise, experience and wisdom of participants to guide and generate discussion on relevant issues and challenges. The meeting will have four basic sections or themes focused on area-specific partnership (e.g. Africa, China, etc), Church-based partnerships, best-practices in cross-cultural partnership, and collaboration between support agencies. Announcing the 2015 COSIM Conference—May 27–29 in Nashville, Tennessee

The 2015 COSIM conference will be held May 27–29 in Nashville, Tennessee at the Airport Nashville Marriott Hotel. This years theme is: Best Practices in Cross-Cultural Partnership: For the Peoples, for the City, for the Gospel.

2014 COSIM conference May 19–21 to be held in Minneapolis with keynote speaker T.J. Addington

COSIM—Coalition On the Support of Indigenous Ministries—is pleased to announce the convening of the 19th annual conference to be held May 19–21, 2014. The venue is the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) headquarters in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The conference theme is “Equipping Leaders in the Context of Partnership.” Participants will explore together the vital role of equipping Christian leaders—in North America and the Majority World—for or through cross-cultural collaboration. 

COSIM is honored to have T.J. Addington as its keynote presenter on Monday evening. T.J. Addington is a Senior Vice President with the EFCA and the leader of ReachGlobal, the international mission of the EFCA. He has served as a pastor, consultant and denominational leader. He is the author of two books on leadership, High Impact Church Boards and Leading From The Sandbox, and two books on spiritual formation, Live Like You Mean It, available from NavPress—and When Life Comes Undone.

Over the past twenty five years, T.J. has consulted with numerous churches and Christian non-profit organizations in the areas of healthy leaders, intentional leadership, governance systems and dealing with issues of organizational health and strategy.
